Ashleigh’s Birthday Poster

I wanted to do something that I think Ashleigh will appreciate in the long run. I created a poster (24″ x 36″) with a picture from each month of her first year (sort of a collage). I plan to have everyone who is attending her birthday party sign it then I will have it laminated and hung in her bedroom.

When its done I will take a photo to show you the end result.

Here is a custom version of Kai Lan that I created for my daughter’s birthday party.

30 Weeks

Ashleigh is officially 30 weeks in the womb. She has been growing rapidly and has been moving a lot. Janine thinks Ashleigh’s running out of room, she is probably right. I think we are due to see Ashleigh in the latter part of May.

This is a question that I have been hearing often lately, “I wonder what Ashleigh looks like”. Well after googling some sites and finding MorphThing.com, we found what we could believe Ashleigh may look like. This site is good after a comparison with other images from another site where the child didn’t look like Janine nor I.

Ashleigh is kicking up a storm, I could feel her just about anytime I want when I am with Janine. I really can’t wait to hold her for the first time.

If you have been following along with us on the Lilypie we are 25 weeks today. This is truly a great feeling.

One thing that is scary is the way time is passing by so fast… our baby girl is almost here and when she gets here I couldn’t imagine having time move the way it does.

It is official, there is an 80% chance that on June 3rd we will be welcoming Ashleigh Nia Maynard into this world.

Prior to going in for our appointment at the OB GYN Janine received a call from a administrator at the doctor’s office asking if it was possible to reschedule for the next day, she quickly decline as we were both anticipating to find out the sex that very night.

The last thing a pregnant woman needs is to be stressed out and funny enough the doctor’s office was reaching to that point.

At the OB GYN they conducted a anatomy of the baby making sure all limbs were in place and checked to see if there was any webbing occurring on all 10 fingers & toes. However, the sonogram technician must of had a great amount of visitors that day who decided that they didn’t to know the sex of their baby and assumed the same for us. Janine had to ask if the doctor was going to tell us the baby’s sex and the technician said that she thought that we said that we didn’t want to the sex of the baby. She then resumed using the sonogram and showed us Ashleigh.

Is it a Boy or a Girl?

On Wednesday evening we are scheduled to visit our OB/GYN office. Besides the normal checkup procedures I am hoping this time we are able to find out if we are having a boy or a girl.

Also, I will continue to update the Ultrasound post with the latest images.

Ultrasounds for Our Little Foot

This was the first sonogram which was on 10/16/2009. Our baby was 7 Weeks and 1 day. It was a joy to see them for the first time.

This sonogram was on 11/05/2009. Our baby was 10 Weeks. I describe them as a little boxer/fighter who could. Also, it also looks like they were reaching for the stars as their tiny limbs are were growing. What a joy!

This sonogram was on 11/19/2009. Our baby was 12 Weeks. What an experience! I was convince it was a girl up to this point but after watching them stretch & bend their knees and push, I want to say its a boy.
